The CBL24280H-1 is a heavy-duty lithium starting battery engineered to deliver up to 2500A peak cranking current for reliable engine ignition, even when the alternator cannot provide power. With 5.9kWh lightweight capacity, strong high-temperature performance, over 3000 cycles, and a maintenance-free design, it also supports direct alternator charging and remote app monitoring—making it ideal for heavy-truck starting and onboard energy storage.

Q1:Can LiFePO4 batteries be used for starting?

A1:LiFePO4 batteries can be used for starting applications. The truck and other vehicles use LiFePO4 chemistry specifically designed for reliable engine starting, delivering consistent power even in challenging weather conditions.

A2:LiFePO4 batteries should be kept within specific temperature ranges to ensure safe operation.
High Temperature: Temperatures above 60°C (140°F) can lead to rapid degradation, with risks of thermal runaway, cell damage, and potential fire hazards, ultimately shortening the battery’s lifespan.
Low Temperature: Charging should be avoided below -20°C (-4°F) as it can cause dangerous lithium plating, which could permanently damage the battery.
To maximize safety and longevity, always operate within the recommended temperature ranges.

A3:For vehicle starting: A Na+ battery is recommended, as it can operate safely within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 80°C. For long-term truck operations: A LiFePO4 battery is a better choice. It can serve dual purposes, acting both as a reliable starting battery and as an energy storage solution, making it ideal for truck ecosystems where both functions are needed.
